The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the list of finalists for the 31st  Achievement in Business Excellence (ABEX) Awards.

The adjudication panel selected finalists from 85 businesses from the list of highly qualified nominations received, to compete in 10 ABEX categories. “We were thrilled with the quality and high number and wide range of nominees from all over Saskatchewan  this year’s awards,” said Steve McLellan, CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. The ABEX will be showcasing strong, innovative and high quality businesses, and the contribution they continue to make to our vibrant economy.”

Sara Wheelwright the S & E Trusted Online Directories Founder is committed to giving back to the community and has got involved with many non profits ansd initiatives over the last few years across Saskatchewan. See a previous article about Trusted community support here.

The latest initiative is one very close to Sara's heart, as she has been involved with a similar project with Habitat for Humanity Regina for the last 2 years, as one of the 100  in 2011, then 200 in 2012 women who stepped up to raise $300,000 over less than 200days and build 3 Habitat for Humanity houses in Regina.

Today has been an amazing day at S & E Trusted Online Directories! We are honored to have been chosen as a finalist for the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce 2013 SABEX Awards in the Marketing category. Our finalist status was announced along with the 3 other finalist in the marketing category who were recognized for their business excellence at the nominees reception today in Saskatoon.

The rise of Trustedregina.com has been astronomical, and just shows how much of a need there is in Regina for this service! We were thrilled when www.trustedsaskatoon.com exceeded the business plan by 7,000 unique visitors in it's first year to reach 22,000 uniques visitors..www.trustedregina.com achieved this level in just 9 months and has finished the year at OVER a staggering 36,000 unique visitors, and these are quality,  engaged and active LOCAL BUYERS with over 62% from Regina and over 80% from Saskatchewan!!! 

The 2 Trusted directories are now getting 100's of unique visitors a day EACH with www.trustedsaskatoon.com getting nearly 600 visitors a day some days ..so it makes sense that the Trusted businesses are booming!!

The www.trustedregina.com  team had a wonderful time at the Regina What Women Want Show 2013....it might have been blizzard and freezing outside but inside we had almost TOO Much fun!!  The show was all about supporting LOCAL businesses and that is what WE DO...the ones WE know you can Trust!! 

We had $1000's of prizes to give away all donated by Trusted Regina Partners, a Big GONG ( that we banged every 2 hours all weekend when we picked a winner)  , a magician, balloons and so many giggles..the feedback from the public was amazing ..clearly we have something people like and appreciate! ( phew!!) .
