It has been a heck of a year for Trusted - we have won the 2014 SABEX Marketing Award, The ABEX Marketing Award, Stevie Award (for a Women-owned PR, Marketing, and Ad Agency with <10 employees in North America), been a finalist for the 2014 SABEX New product/ service Award.
Sara personally has won the YWCA Saskatoon Entrepreneur Award, Stevie Award for Female Canadian Entrepreneur in Canada and she was a nominee for the Saskatoon BPW 2014 Young Athena Award. Soon we are going to need a new Awards cabinet at Trusted Saskatoon HQ!!
Sara Wheelwright the Trusted founder was nominated, applied and was announced as an Award winner for the The Stevie® Awards for Women in Business - The world's premier awards for women executives, entrepreneurs, and the organizations they run. The Stevie® Awards are the world's premier business awards. They were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. In short order the Stevie has become one of the world's most coveted prizes.
Sara received a message from the Stevie Awards to tell her the great news "This is a significant achievement for which you are to be applauded. This means that independent judges agreed that these entries are worthy of international recognition, and will ultimately be named Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winners. Stevie Award placements will be determined in the final judging that will take place later this month."
Sara is an award winner in 2 award categories:
International Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Marketing, advertising, public relations, business services –10 or fewer Employees
Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Canada
She will find out wether she is a Gold, Silver or Bronze Award winner in each category in New York on Nov 14th at the glamorous Stevie Awards Ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel which will be broadcast on USA National Radio and televised.
Betty Ann Heggie was the first Saskatchewan Woman to win a Stevie Award in 2009 in the Women Helping Women category.
Sara turned 40 this year and says " It has been the most amazing year !!I could never have imagined all the success Trusted has enjoyed, I am so excited to attend the Stevie Awards in New York, and to be the recipient of any award is staggering. However, the success of my company doesn't just rely on me, but also on my hard working, dedicated team and the amazing businesses we partner with.. I am exited to bring two Stevie Awards back to Saskatchewan, regardless of the metal!!"

May has been an amazing month of recognition for the Trusted Team and we are thrilled to share that S & E Trusted Online Directories Inc founder Sara Wheelwright was the recipient of the 2014 YWCA Saskatoon Women of Distinction Award in the Entrepreneur category on May 29th.
The 33rd Annual YWCA Women of Distinction Awards® celebrate the best in women’s achievements, across industry, culture and public service, honouring ordinary women for their extraordinary contributions to the Saskatoon community.
The YWCA Women of Distinction Awards are recognized nationally among the most prestigious awards for women. Now in their 33rd year, the awards have celebrated the best in women’s achievements, with over 800 individuals nominated to the ranks of the Women of Distinction in Saskatoon.
The 37 outstanding and inspirational finalists in the 10 categories were all nominated, they then had to submit letters of support and provide back ground information about their achievements and why they were leader in their categories. All applications were then submitted to a judging panel and the winners were announced at the wonderful ceremony in the Grand Salon at TCU Place Saskatoon, in front of a full house!
The event is important for many reasons, not least because it raised over $180,000 for the Saskatoon YWCA!

The award for SABEX Marketing is awarded to the Saskatoon based business demonstrating exceptional performance in marketing. The judges evaluated the success of a marketing program giving consideration to the nature of the product and the relative size of the business. The business must be a for profit business and must have their head office in the Saskatoon Region.
The award was presented to Sara Wheelwright the Trusted founder, and the creator of the Trusted marketing strategy. The finalists in both of the categories Trusted were finalist in ( New Product/Service and Marketing ) were all primarily women owned and operated, and the other marketing finalists Metric Design Centre ( Trusted Saskatoon partner ) and SleepWell Baby are amazing and have a strong and effective marketing strategies both off and online- Trusted is proud to be a member of such a progressive Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce that recognizes times have changed KUDOS to you and to all the finalists and winners from last night!!
